The Green New Deal Will Be The End Of Civilization – Greenpeace Co-Founder Says

Don Wood – MessageToEagle.com – The Green New Deal is causing controversy among the public, politicians, and scientists. Lies, corruption and hoaxes – Greenpeace co—founder Patrick Moore is not being diplomatic when it comes to issues like the Green New Deal or global warming. Moore has publicly criticized the plan stating it will lead to the end of civilization, but what are his arguments?

It should also be added it’s uncertain whether Patrick Moore was co-founder of Greenpeace. According to himself, Greenpeace removed his name from the list. In a tweet, Moore wrote:

“Google has removed my photo and name from the ‘Founders of Greenpeace’. It was still there 2 days ago but now I am erased. Tech Tyranny!!”

In an interview with Fox News, Moore said “the Green New Deal will be the end of civilization if 85% of the world’s and 85% of the US coal, oil and natural gas were fazed out over the next few years, like the next ten years. We do not have anything to replace them with… Half of the population will die in a very short period of time. And as I also pointed out, there wouldn’t be a tree left on this planet… because that would be all there was to heat and cook..”

In another interview with Breitbart News Tonight, Moore expressed his fear the Green New Deal will cause mass starvation.

“And so you’ve got the green movement creating stories that instill fear in the public. You’ve got the media echo chamber — fake news — repeating it over and over and over again to everybody that they’re killing their children. And then you’ve got the green politicians who are buying scientists with government money to produce fear for them in the form of scientific-looking materials.

And then you’ve got the green businesses, the rent-seekers, and the crony capitalists who are taking advantage of massive subsidies, huge tax write-offs, and government mandates requiring their technologies to make a fortune on this. And then, of course, you’ve got the scientists who are willingly, they’re basically hooked on government grants, “ Moore said.

Is Global Warming A Hoax?

Moore accuses corrupt scientists of pushing the global climate hoax.

Scientists are co-opted and corrupted by politicians and bureaucracies invested in advancing the narrative of “climate change” in order to further centralize political power and control, Moore explained.

“And so you’ve got the green movement creating stories that instill fear in the public. You’ve got the media echo chamber — fake news — repeating it over and over and over again to everybody that they’re killing their children. And then you’ve got the green politicians who are buying scientists with government money to produce fear for them in the form of scientific-looking materials.

And then you’ve got the green businesses, the rent-seekers, and the crony capitalists who are taking advantage of massive subsidies, huge tax write-offs, and government mandates requiring their technologies to make a fortune on this. And then, of course, you’ve got the scientists who are willingly, they’re basically hooked on government grants.

When they talk about the 99 percent consensus [among scientists] on climate change, that’s a completely ridiculous and false number. But most of the scientists — put it in quotes, scientists — who are pushing this catastrophic theory are getting paid by public money, they are not being paid by General Electric or Dupont or 3M to do this research, where private companies expect to get something useful from their research that might produce a better product and make them a profit in the end because people want it — build a better mousetrap type of idea.

But most of what these so-called scientists are doing is simply producing more fear so that politicians can use it to control people’s minds and get their votes because some of the people are convinced, ‘Oh, this politician can save my kid from certain doom.’

A Big Threat To Enlightenment

It is the biggest lie since people thought the Earth was at the center of the universe. This is Galileo-type stuff. If you remember, Galileo discovered that the sun was at the center of the solar system and the Earth revolved around it. He was sentenced to death by the Catholic Church, and only because he recanted was he allowed to live in house arrest for the rest of his life.

So this was around the beginning of what we call the Enlightenment, when science became the way in which we gained knowledge instead of using superstition and instead of using invisible demons and whatever else, we started to understand that you have to have observation of actual events and then you have to repeat those observations over and over again, and that is basically the scientific method, “ Moore said.

“But this abomination that is occurring today in the climate issue is the biggest threat to the Enlightenment that has occurred since Galileo,” declared Moore.

“Nothing else comes close to it. This is as bad a thing that has happened o science in the history of science.”

Moore concluded, “It’s taking over science with superstition and a kind of toxic combination of religion and political ideology. There is no truth to this. It is a complete hoax and scam.”

Natural News did an analysis of agricultural use of fossil fuels and how the food production industry would be impacted by ending the use of fossil fuels in the next decade.

Here are the main points as presented by Natural News:

• The agricultural industry depends heavily on fossil fuels for farming, harvesting, milling, manufacturing, transport and even for fertilizers. (See statistics in the infographic, below.)
• Food imports depend almost entirely on fossil fuel-powered ships, shipping port transport equipment (such as cranes and forklifts), long haul rigs and other heavy equipment that run almost exclusively on fossil fuels.
• There are no “green energy” replacements capable of powering most of the heavy equipment used in food production, manufacturing and transportation, aside from small, battery-powered forklifts that must be recharged for many hours between uses. (There are no battery-powered ocean freighter ships that can cross the Pacific Ocean on battery power, for example. They simply do not exist.)
• Ending fossil fuels and combustion engines would result in a catastrophic collapse of national food production.
• Our rough estimate is that food supplies would collapse by 80% within the first 12 months after fossil fuels are outlawed.
• The result would be mass starvation, social chaos, uncontrolled outbreaks of infectious disease, a collapse of government, widespread mayhem and lawlessness.
• Under the scenario, the GDP of the United State of America would plummet by an estimated 70% as the national economy grinds to a halt.
• America would cease to exist as a nation and would be especially vulnerable to invasions by foreign forces such as China, Russia or even migrant waves of military-aged men from Central and South America. (Is this what Ocasio-Cortez wants to see happen?)

According to Natural News, “the “Green New Deal” appears to be a planned, engineered economic apocalypse plot to destroy America from within. No wonder so many Democrats have signed onto the plan, for it is exactly what they want to see happen: the complete economic destruction of the United States of America.”

Meanwhile, there are already serious thoughts how to finance and implement the plan. Of course there is also disagreement who should pay and how much. The Intercept reports, “there is also an ideological debate behind the purpose of climate finance. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., said she expects her Green New Deal climate plan to cost at least $10 trillion

Proponents of environmental justice argue that the U.S. has a moral and ethical responsibility to help less prosperous countries deal with the threat of climate change because so much of the U.S.’s own development and economic growth has contributed to suffering around the globe. Politically speaking, though, the issue is largely framed in terms of national security: The United States will be safer and better off if climate disasters don’t go unmitigated in other parts of the world.”

Supporters of the Green New Deal  disagree withe Moore’s conclusions.
