We waited with great anticipation for the release of the science fiction film Prometheus, one of the most discussed movies this summer.
Now that many of us have seen it, we wonder what other movies we can look forward to during the second half of the year.
It turns out there is no need to be depressed, because a number of interesting science fiction movies are going to be released in the next months.
We have put together a list of some that could be worth watching. Are you curious?

Known and feared throughout the city, Dredd (Karl Urban) is the ultimate Judge, challenged with ridding the city of its latest scourge -- a dangerous drug epidemic
that has users of "Slo-Mo" experiencing reality at a fraction of its normal speed.
During a routine day on the job, Dredd is assigned to train and evaluate Cassandra Anderson (Olivia Thirlby), a rookie with powerful psychic abilities thanks
to a genetic mutation.
A heinous crime calls them to a neighborhood where fellow Judges rarely dare to venture- a 200 story vertical slum controlled by prostitute turned drug
lord Ma-Ma (Lena Headey) and her ruthless clan.
When they capture one of the clan's inner circle, Ma-Ma overtakes the compound's control center and wages a dirty, vicious war against the Judges that proves she will stop at nothing to protect her empire. With the body count climbing and no way out, Dredd and Anderson must confront the odds and engage in the relentless battle for their survival.

Gravity
Plot: Astronauts attempt to return to earth after debris crashes into their space shuttle, leaving them drifting alone in space.
Stars: Sandra Bullock, George Clooney
Release date: Has been pushed from its November 21 release to 2013! A new firm release date has not yet been set.
The highly anticipated movie World War Z featuring Brad Pitt, Mireille Enos and David Morse is not going to be released until July, 2013.
Another movie that can be something to look forward to is After Earth with Will Smith and his son Jade Smith. If everything goes according to the plans After
Earth should be released in June 2013.
On the anticipated 2013 list is also Elysium featuring among others Judy Foster. Of course there are many other interesting sci-fi movies next years,
but 2012 has not come to an end just yet and lets first watch
