The Wonderfully Weird Crooked House – One Of The Strangest Buildings In The World

This little wonderfully odd house looks like something taken straight out of a fairy tale.

Its architecture amazes you! The Crooked House (Krzywy Domek in Polish) is located in the city of Sopot, Poland is a real place and everyone is welcome to visit it, but be warned, you might get dizzy!

The Krzywy Domek website describes the building as follows:

“The showpiece of Sopot and the symbol of the modern world that harmoniously combine business with culture and art.”

Each day plenty of people pay visits to us to conduct business, eat, enhance their health or do shopping.

This place is the seat of offices of companies representing various industries, beauty salons, doctors’ offices, shops and the like.

In the evening the Krzywy Domek is vibrant with life, as well.

Its clubs and pubs provide extensive programs of events and their top quality and diverse catering will satisfy all tastes – both sophisticated and traditional ones.

Designed by Szotynscy & Zaleski, this remarkable house is considered to be one of the strangest buildings in the world. Its unique look was inspired by the fairy tale illustrations of Jan Marcin Szancer and Per Dahlberg.

Some who have seen images of the house suggest they are photoshopped, but both the images as well as the house are genuine. Why not visit it and see for yourself?

The Crooked House is a shopping center where you will find restaurants, shops and offices on four levels encompassing some 43,000 square feet.

This strange-looking house was built in 2004 and it is getting more and more famous around the world.

It does look like a little, magical house from a fairy tale…
