Unique Untouched 10,000-Year-Old Artifacts Removed From Restricted Military Area In Utah

MessageToEagle.com – For the first time eve archaeologists have been allowed to access the Utah Test and Training Range, a restricted space where cutting-edge military technology is tested. What the scientists found,  when they excavated this site this summer is quite incredible.

They unearthed several unique untouched, unmoved10, 000-year-old artifacts that could offer more clues into the past of ancient Utah.

Most of the ancient arrow points are made of basalt, a volcanic rock that was most likely carried into what is now the west desert from hundreds of miles away.

An ancient fire pit was found below the ground. Listbeth Louderback of the Natural History Museum of Utah thinks that thousands of years ago someone was cooking something there. Scientists found traces of tobacco on the ancient site. It’s possibly ancient people were cooking tobacco, some meat or something else.

Listbeth Louderback is also convinced there are many more ancient artifacts that have not yet been unearthed at the Utah Test and Training Range.

There are still a number ancient civilizations that are unknown to scientists. Sometimes traces of our ancestors can be found in the most remarkable places. Traces of unknown ancient civilizations have been encountered before in Utah. Like for example in 2015 when construction crews working on a gas pipeline discovered the remains of an ancient civilization in Sandy.
